Question by Jamison: Create your own song?
Just out of survey and curiosity, I’m trying to figure out what peoples most natural desired wants in music are.
Pretending that someone was writing a song to your specifics, what would you choose out of these options?
1. If you were to pick any key signature, off the top of your head, which would you choose for your song?
2. What tempo would you place it in? (Slow, Slow/Medium, Medium, Medium/Fast, Fast)
3. What time signature?
4. Any other specifics you’d prefer in your song?

I’m a drummer so I don’t know a lot about waht keys to use, but I feel like some things sound good in compliment to each other, for example if your keeping a slower tempo the key is to not let it get boring by filling in the spaces. Also, I feel like unique time signature’s kind of show a level of expertise in musical competence. 6/8 is nice for slower songs, 7/8 sounds cool over a med/fast song, and 17/8 sounds really funky in kind of a mid tempo funk or fusion tune. I hope I was helpful

I have an xbox 360 I heard that guitar hero 5 you can compose your own songs. What I am wondering is would I be able to take the songs I create and put them on my PC. For example I would like to add custom music to a video of mine…just curious if it is possible.

You can’t directly take it from the 360 and put the file on your PC.
The only real way to do it would be to connect the Audio outputs (the red and white wires) from your 360 to your computer (or some other recording device), and record the audio from playing the song in the Music Studio.
